Susanne (Susie) Morgan specializes in the treatment of PTSD and Complex/Developmental Trauma. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA License LMFT41442) in private practice in Encinitas, CA. She is Board Certified by and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, a Diplomate of the National Center for Crisis Management, a member of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, and a Fellow of the American Psychotherapy Association.
In order to be able to effectively address the complexity of symptoms experienced by her clients, she continually pursues further development of her clinical skills. Early in her career, Ms. Morgan completed California State Certification as a Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Advocate. She has completed the Certificate Program in Traumatic Stress Studies through leading trauma expert Bessel van der Kolk and The Mindsight Approach to Well-being: A Comprehensive Course in Interpersonal Neurobiology taught by Dan Siegel, MD.
Ms. Morgan was originally trained in EMDR therapy in 2005. She is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist, has been an Approved Consultant since 2011, and has completed extensive advanced training in EMDR therapy and related physiologically-based intervention protocols for the treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Dissociative Disorders, and other mental health conditions. She is an approved EMDRIA Training and Credit Provider for provision of Basic Training and continuing education to EMDR therapists. Ms. Morgan authored and created the professional training The Readiness Course for EMDR Clinicians: A Model & Practicum for How to Begin with Non-Dissociative Complex Trauma Cases as well as The EMDR Readiness Course: Powerful First Steps to Heal & Transform Your Life Story, a self-help resource for clients and those considering EMDR therapy.
Ms. Morgan has substantial training in Cognitive-Behavioral treatments for trauma, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, most significantly with David Burns of Stanford University. She is a Certified Advanced TEAM-CBT Therapist through the Feeling Good Institute, applying David Burns's cutting edge approaches to assessment and treatment. Ms. Morgan has been fully trained and accredited by the the Amen Clinics and is a Certified HeartMath Practitioner through the Institute of HeartMath. Ms. Morgan also completed a continuing education certificate in the treatment of Eating Disorders and worked with Team Mermaid, a women's triathlon association, in the development of a body image and self esteem curriculum for the Mini-Mermaids Girls Running Club.

Bethany (Beth) Warren, LCSW (CA License LCS22623) has a passion for reproductive and perinatal mental health issues and has worked in this field for 25 years. She has a private practice where she specializes in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, working with people experiencing pregnancy loss, infertility, birth trauma or facing adoption or surrogacy. She has earned her Certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). She also focuses on women's trauma across the lifespan, particularly finding attachment and developmental work to be particularly rewarding as secure attachment remains so foundational to mental wellness.
Ms. Warren is a current member, and has served for years as President of the Postpartum Health Alliance Board, as well as several other positions. She volunteers as a facilitator and consultant for the Trauma Recovery EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs and is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Approved Consultant.
Ms. Warren provides trainings to many organizations around the country to discuss EMDR, trauma, and maternal mental health issues. She is frequently featured as a reproductive mental health and trauma subject matter expert on podcasts. She is the author of the books: The Pregnancy and Postpartum Mood Workbook and Healing From Reproductive Trauma.

Jennie Abito-Carlestav is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA License LMFT51055) with a private practice in Encinitas, CA. She is an EMDR Certified Therapist, EMDRIA-Approved Consultant and Certified Brainspotting Therapist. Jennie specializes in providing a cutting-edge combination of EMDR therapy and Brainspotting treatment to support the mental health of athletes and the prevention of sports performance problems, known as Lost Movement Syndrome, which is common with athletes who have experienced trauma both sport and non-sport related. Jennie also specializes in mental Peak Performance enhancements to “install” positive programming for future challenges and high stakes competitions. She is a member of the Pacific Northwest group of providers for Paralympic & Olympic Team USA and works with athletes of all ages. Having been a competitive athlete in her youth, Jennie understands the intense pressure to perform and the challenges of a sport injury, recovery and re-entry back into the sport. Because of this, Jennie is a genuine advocate for athlete mental health. Her treatment system is designed to uniquely support athletes using biofeedback technology to reset the nervous system during treatment. This modern approach creates an advantage in performance that is reflected immediately on the field. Jennie is also a Certified Heart Math Practitioner and provides Heart Rate variability and Heart Rate Coherence training for athletes and teams to provide additional advantages in peak performance. In 2023 Jennie was a co-presenter in a training with past EMDRIA President and other experts across the country to talk about EMDR Peak Performance with Athletes and Performers. This training is now available as an On-Demand Course.
In addition, Jennie is a Certified EMDR Child specialist which she achieved under direct training from Internationally known EMDRIA Trainer and Child Specialist, Ana Gomez. Under her tutelage, Jennie studied techniques which break down all eight phases of EMDR into a child friendly approach. Her knowledge, creativity and skill set has set her aside in providing child and adolescent trauma treatment both on-line and in-person.
As an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, Jennie helps her consultees get to a point in which they are able to feel secure and comfortable in their use of EMDR so that they are able to effortlessly dance with the protocol. For consultees that are interested in specializing in the treatment of Athlete mental health or Child & Adolescent trauma treatment, Jennie guides her consultees to weave basic training protocol to this population.

Danielle Ciccone is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (#4677) in California. She owns a private practice, Integrated Healing Center, in Thousand Oaks, California. Danielle earned her Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013 and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA in 2009. She works with adults who come to therapy for trauma-related disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, and addictions.
Danielle considers herself to primarily be an EMDR Therapist, but she believes in the importance of integrating parts work with EMDR Therapy, and utilizes the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model (she is IFS Level 1 Trained); as well as other ego state therapy interventions.
Danielle also has a special interest in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, specifically Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. She became a Certified Psychedelic Assisted Therapist after completing a year-long certificate program in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute. She finds that utilizing legally prescribed ketamine in the EMDR Therapy process creates a powerful synergy for deep healing and transformation, and this is a special topic that she provides consultation and training on.

Venessa De La Cruz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (AZ LCSW 13843) in private practice in Gilbert, AZ. She aims to create a shame free learning environment so that therapists leave feeling confident in their skills which has a positive trickle-down effect on their clients. She embraces the role of a lifelong learner in this field and often feels that her consultees teach her as much, if not more, than she teaches them.

In addition to her expertise in trauma, Rosa Nely has studied various therapeutic approaches, including Gottman Method for couples counseling, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Psychotherapy, and strength-based coaching. She has valuable experience working with women in recovery programs and victims and perpetrators of domestic violence. Dr. Danielle Hiestand is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA License LMFT48529) in private practice in Mission Valley, San Diego. Debbra (Debbie) Wagner specializes in the treatment of trauma, complex PTSD, dissociative disorders, and developmental attachment trauma. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA License LMFT77147) in private practice in San Diego, CA. She is a member of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress,
the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, the International Society for the Study Traumatic Stress and Dissociation, and is a CAMFT-Approved Clinical Supervisor. In 2024 she was honored to join Precision EMDR Academy.
Since the inception of her career in 2010, Ms. Wagner has passionately pursued specialization in the area of traumatic stress and its constellation of implications on emotional, psychological, and neurobiological development in her work with adults. In 2011, Ms. Wagner was honored to be the first AAMFT-Certified LGBT+ Affirmative therapist in California. In 2012, she completed her EMDR Basic Training followed by becoming EMDRIA-Certified in 2016, which all culminated in becoming an EMDRIA-Approved Consultant in 2023.
Early in her career she completed CAL-EMA’s Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Certification, and volunteered from 2013 to 2015 as a Sexual Assault Response Team member with Center for Community Solutions. In 2015, Ms. Wagner became a member of San Diego’s Victim’s of Crime Coordinating Council, and has continued to see individual victims of crime. Her volunteering continues with San Diego’s Trauma Response Network for first responders. From 2016 to 2018 Ms. Wagner volunteered with CAMFT’s Continuing Education Provider Approval committee (CEPA), while also serving as an Adjunct Practicum Professor at National University, at which point she transitioned to serve on California’s Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Subject Matter Expert from 2019 to 2023.

Nina Kotovsky, Administrative Director, has dedicated her professional career to providing exceptional, personalized customer care. She coaches teams in providing exquisite attunement and attention to the detailed needs of those they serve. Her extensive experience in management and logistics makes her adept at juggling the needs of both the Precision EMDR team and students.
